Apple snail breeding is not limited by time, as long as the water temperature, water quality and other external conditions are suitable, they can breed. They have a high breeding frequency and can breed several times a month in a suitable environment. However, their longevity is also related to the frequency of reproduction. If they breed frequently, their life span will be significantly shortened.
The incubation time of apple snail eggs is closely related to the water temperature. If the water temperature is suitable, the snail eggs only need about two weeks to hatch. But if the water temperature is low, the incubation time will be extended to 17-18 days or even longer. After hatching, the young snails can eat algae in the tank and small plankton. If you are afraid that they are hungry, you can feed some vegetable leaf fragments.
