It is very simple to raise apple snails to explode. As long as they can be kept in a water tank with a water temperature of about 24 degrees Celsius, and fed regularly to provide them with food, they will soon be able to explode the tank. In addition, if you want them to explode, you'd better not put them in the same tank with some shrimps and fish that can eat snails, otherwise they may be eaten and can't explode.
Apple snail is an omnivorous ornamental snail, not picky eaters. When artificial breeding, you can use algae powder or or ornamental snail grain to feed. If not, you can also use turtle food, shrimp food, fish food or other food to feed. They have strong reproductive capacity and need to be fed in time to provide enough nutrition. So that they can blow up smoothly. If they lack nutrition, they will not be able to explode smoothly.
The apple snail does not have a very high requirement for water quality, but it also needs to change the water when it is cultured. Because if the water is not changed for a long time, there will be a lot of metabolic waste of apple snails and food residues in the water, and the water quality will deteriorate. Therefore, it is recommended to change their water every seven days or so. Every time you change the water, you can clean up the snail dung and food residue.
