If you want to see whether the shrimp is anoxic, you must first see whether it is active. The amount of dissolved oxygen in the water body determines the degree of activity of the shrimp. The higher the dissolved oxygen, the more active it is. On the contrary, if you do not want to move, it may be anoxic. Secondly, look at the appearance of shrimp, generally in the absence of oxygen, its color will turn yellow, and the body spots will increase, this time it is necessary to immediately supplement oxygen.
1. Feeding too much: The common reason for shrimp hypoxia is feeding too much. In fact, raising shrimp is the same as raising fish. It is not necessary to feed too frequently. If it is fed too much, it will eat too much. This will increase metabolism and consume a lot of oxygen. Moreover, things that cannot be eaten will also consume oxygen in the process of being decomposed. This will cause the shrimp to lack oxygen.
2. The water body is too small: If there is too little water for raising shrimps, the oxygen content in the water body will not be too high, and the respiration itself will be consumed, which will cause the shrimps to lack oxygen. Therefore, shrimp farming still needs a certain amount of water, so as to ensure that the dissolved oxygen in the water is enough, so that it can breathe freely.
3. The temperature is too high: When the temperature rises, the dissolved oxygen in the water body will decrease, which will also cause the phenomenon of shrimp anoxia. In view of this problem, we must pay attention to temperature control, usually maintained at about 22-24 C, usually do not put in the sunny place, in order to avoid the rapid rise of temperature.
