There are generally three reasons why shrimps kick eggs. The first is the problem of species, some shrimps are born to kick eggs, which can not be changed, only through artificial incubation to improve the survival rate. The second is the instability of the water body, which is generally due to frequent water changes, or to fertilize and pull weeds in the water, and do not make big moves easily during the spawning period. The third is the poor constitution of shrimp, which usually kicks eggs in the middle of spawning.
1. Control the water quality: As mentioned above, the instability of the water body is the main reason for the shrimp kicking the eggs. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the water quality is good before preparing for reproduction. Usually the water temperature should be kept at about 25 C, the water should not be changed too frequently, about one sixth at a time, and the new water should be dripped into the tank to avoid water fluctuation.
2. Avoid scaring: The female shrimp must not scare it during the spawning period, which will also cause it to kick the eggs. Try not to walk in front of it, and avoid making a loud noise. It is better not to mix other things in the water, or provide a cave for it to hide.
3. Reproduction: After the eggs are kicked, it is necessary to let the female shrimp reproduce again. It should be noted that the male shrimp must be selected well. The poor physique of the male shrimp will affect the survival of the eggs. Moreover, if the female shrimp finds that the eggs are not fertilized, it may kick the eggs.
4. Artificial incubation: If the shrimp eggs are still golden yellow, they will basically not survive after being kicked. However, if they can see the eyes after turning black, they can be artificially incubated. Put them in an isolation box, keep a certain amount of water flow, and at the same time provide sufficient oxygen. In this way, the shrimp eggs can also hatch out shrimps.
