It is difficult and expensive to raise the toothed tortoise, so there are fewer people to raise it. It belongs to semi-water turtle, which lives on land and water, and can forage on both sides. As an adult, the body size can grow to 30-60 cm and the weight can reach about 2.5 kg. From the appearance point of view, its back is relatively raised, and there are some slight webbed connections between its claws. From the living environment in the wild, it mainly lives in shallow water areas, such as swamps and rivers.

1. Environment: As a semi-water turtle, the toothed turtle needs both land environment and certain water environment to survive. The land needs to keep a certain degree of humidity, so coconut soil can be used as land. The water area is mainly shallow water, and the water level is the best without passing the turtle's back.

2. Diet: As an omnivorous turtle, toothed turtle is convenient to feed. Generally, living bait is the best, such as shrimp and lean meat, which can enhance resistance. It should also be fed some vegetables regularly to ensure the balance of nutrition.

3. Temperature: As a temperature-changing animal, it is extremely sensitive to temperature. High temperature and severe cold are not suitable for its growth, which will cause it to sleep. Therefore, the most suitable temperature should be controlled at 20-30 ℃.
