The toothed tortoise is a protected animal. Toothed tortoise is a kind of turtle belonging to the genus Turtle of Turtle Family, which belongs to aquatic turtle. It has no habit of drying its back and generally lives in rivers and ponds. It has a strong dependence on water and a herbivorous diet, but it can also eat meat such as fish and shrimp. It requires high temperature, and usually grows at 25-30 ℃. If it is lower than 17 ℃, it will start hibernating, and if it is higher than 35 ℃, it will sleep in summer.

1. Tortoises: At present, all tortoises can't be raised in China.
