Anbu closed-shell turtle is native to tropical areas and generally does not hibernate. When raising Anbu closed-shell turtle in northern winter, it is necessary to control the temperature. If the temperature is too low, they will die directly. The feeding temperature of Ambu closed shell turtles should be between 20-25 ℃. When the surrounding environment is lower than 20 ℃, the ambient temperature should be controlled above 20 ℃ by heating, so that their feeding can proceed smoothly and they can safely survive the cold winter in the north.

As a tropical turtle, the amber turtle has no need for this hibernation. But it can also put itself into hibernation. Amber closed shell turtle is suitable for growing in the environment of 25 ℃. It belongs to temperature-changing animals, and the body function of temperature-changing animals is closely related to the temperature of the surrounding environment, especially the diet.

When the temperature is below 20 ℃, it will stop eating, and when the temperature is below 15 ℃, it will go into hibernation. The hibernation time of Amber turtle should be controlled in January-February, not too long. The minimum ambient temperature should not be lower than 10 ℃, otherwise it will directly lead to the death of Amber closed shell turtle. Therefore, Amber turtles can hibernate, but they also require the surrounding temperature. In winter, the water temperature should be kept between 20-25 ℃ as far as possible, so as to ensure that Amber closed-shell turtles can survive the winter smoothly.
