Apple snail is a common ornamental snail, which originated from Amazon River in South America and is suitable for growing in the environment of 25-32 ℃. I like dark and humus-rich places, and I am afraid of light and heat. Because the cold resistance is not strong, you will be careful in winter, and you will sleep when the temperature is lower than 8 ℃.
2. Zebra snailZebra snail is also called watermelon snail. It prefers hard water, and its ph should be controlled between 7.1 and 7.4. If the water quality is soft, it will cause it to dissolve its shell, and the pattern on the snail shell will disappear, which will reduce its ornamental value. This snail is suitable for living in water temperature of 22-24 ℃, prefers to eat algae, and cannot reproduce in fresh water, so there is no need to worry about bursting the cylinder.
3. Onion snailOnion snail is spherical, its shell is thin and easy to break, and it is mainly produced in tropical areas. This snail does not require high water quality, but like zebra snails, it needs to be raised in hard water. It is worth mentioning that its crawling speed is faster than that of other snails, and it can climb about 30 cm a minute.
4. Golden snailGolden snail is Ampullaria gigas, which is a very widely distributed snail, and belongs to alien invasive species in many places. It has a wide range of feeding habits, likes to eat sweet food, and can also eat animal carrion. If it is raised artificially, it is best to clean the snail eggs regularly to prevent them from exploding.
V. Mysterious snailsMysterious snails belong to freshwater ornamental snails. It has low requirements for water quality, and the water that can feed fish can generally feed it. However, water bodies with different ph will affect its snail shell. If ph is higher than 7.5, its shell is thicker and harder, and if ph is lower than 7, the shell will become thinner, which needs to be supplemented with some calcium feed.
