1. Floating head: Like fish, ornamental shrimp will float to the surface to breathe when they are short of oxygen. This phenomenon is called floating head. It is worth mentioning that the floating head is not necessarily caused by hypoxia, when the water quality is not good or there are too many insects, there is also the performance of the floating head, so it is necessary to change the water in time.
2. Shelling: The crayfish in the ornamental shrimp also needs to be protected and oxygenated when shelling. At this time, it is relatively fragile. Once there is a lack of oxygen, it is easy to cause its death. Therefore, it is not necessary to ensure that the oxygen in the water body is sufficient. In addition, when shelling, we must pay attention to water quality and water temperature, during which do not change water for it, once stimulated will also lead to failure.
3. Reproduction: When the ornamental shrimp is reproducing, it needs to be given oxygen. At this time, the mother shrimp will hold the eggs. Sufficient oxygen is helpful for its ovulation and the hatching of the shrimp roe. If the oxygen is low, it will affect the survival of the young shrimp.
