If it is fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, the total amount of feed should account for about 5-8% of its body weight, and it should be fed less in the morning, 30% of the total amount, and 70% in the afternoon.
1. Spinach: The most commonly fed thing for ornamental shrimps is spinach, but it is best to grow your own spinach, which may have pesticide residues. Before feeding, the spinach is soaked in salt water for ten minutes, washed several times, boiled in a pot, fished out after 3-5 minutes, cooled with cold water, and then fed.
2. Shrimp feed: Like fish farming, shrimp farming is fed with artificial feed, and the artificial feed for shrimp is shrimp feed. Shrimp food is divided into two kinds, namely grain and piece grain, as the name implies is pellet and flake. Shrimp food is rich in nutrition, can supplement a variety of nutrients, but can not only feed one, it is best to match other feed.
3. Live bait: You can also feed a little live bait every three or five times to raise shrimps. Generally, you can choose red worms or brine shrimp. You can't feed them all the time, otherwise they will be picky eaters. In addition to live bait, you can also prepare some meat, such as fish or snail meat, but to cut up before feeding, and the residual bait should be cleaned up as soon as possible, otherwise it will pollute the water quality.
