There are many varieties of tropical fish, different varieties of small fish need different time, fast need 2-4 hours, slow need about 6 hours. Usually, this kind of fish can produce 10-20 at a time, and more than 200. Small tropical fish need 4-8 months to mature, while large tropical fish take a long time to mature, some even take several years.
1. Timely isolation: The tropical fish to be bred must be isolated from other fish in time, otherwise it is easy to be attacked. Moreover, after the eggs are produced, they will be swallowed by other fish. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a special breeding tank to ensure the safety during breeding.
2. Raw water: The water in the breeding tank must be the raw water of the fish tank. If new water is used, it is easy to stimulate the fish body and cause the fish to get sick. Using raw water can avoid the change of water quality, which is very helpful for the reproduction of parent fish and the growth of young fish.
3. Fishing out parent fish: Usually, the breeding time of parent fish is in the evening. Some fish still have the habit of eating young fish, such as Mary and Phoenix Tail. Therefore, after breeding, it is necessary to fish out the parent fish as soon as possible, but do not immediately put them back into the original tank. First isolate and breed them for a period of time to recover.
4. Feeding of fish larvae: It usually takes 2-3 days for the eggs of tropical fish to hatch. One or two days after hatching, there is no need to feed them. Two days later, they can be fed with a little migratory water. They can also be gently twisted into the tank with cooked egg yolks, but do not put too much, otherwise the water quality will be polluted.
