Extremely hot shrimp has certain requirements for water temperature. They are suitable for growing in water with a temperature of 22-25 C. They don't like cold water, if the water temperature is below 15 C, they will stop eating, and the growth rate will be much slower. They do not like high temperature water, if the water temperature is higher than 30 degrees Celsius, they will die because they can not adapt. When breeding, it is recommended to control the water temperature at about 24 C, which is more conducive to breeding.
It is recommended to use a heating rod when raising extreme fire shrimp. Because in winter, if the water temperature is very low, they may grow poorly or even get sick. Therefore, it is recommended to use a heating rod to maintain the water temperature between 22-25 C. However, in summer, we should pay attention to turning off the heating rod if the water temperature is very high, and properly shade and cool down to prevent fish from dying because of the high water temperature.
The hatching time of the eggs of polar fire shrimp is related to the water temperature. They can hatch normally in water at 20-25 C. If the water temperature is too high or too low, it will cause them to hatch for a longer time, or even unable to hatch. Proper increase of water temperature is helpful to shorten the incubation time. For example, it takes about 25 days for shrimp eggs to hatch in water at 20 degrees Celsius. When the water temperature is raised to 25 degrees Celsius, it takes only about 18 days for them to hatch.
