Extreme fire shrimps mainly live at the bottom of the tank. When mixed culture, it is recommended to choose fish that like to swim in the middle and upper layers of the fish tank, so that they do not infringe each other and can effectively avoid fighting. In addition, polyculture should select fish that can survive in the environment with temperature of 24 C to 26 C and PH of 6 to 9. Note that too small shrimp can not be mixed with fish. If the juvenile shrimp is too small, its self-protection ability is weak, and it is easy to be eaten as food by fish. Therefore, in polyculture, we should choose large or adult extreme fire shrimp.
The extreme fire shrimp usually stays at the bottom of the water tank and seldom moves to the middle and upper waters. It is recommended to choose fish that like to swim in the middle and upper layers to mix with it. This can avoid the coincidence of their activity areas and reduce the possibility of fighting. Like silver water needlefish, lute scavenger, snake fish, small rat fish, guppy, zebrafish and so on are in line with the requirements, and can be raised with extreme fire shrimp. In the tank of fish and shrimp mixed culture, it is better to plant some aquatic plants or place some shrimp nests to provide shelter for shrimp so as not to be eaten by fish.
