Extreme fire shrimps generally breed 1-2 times a year, and their breeding frequency is not high. Even if breeders can ensure their comfortable living environment, they can only breed twice a year at most. Moreover, after each reproduction, the female shrimp needs to rest for 5-6 months before the second reproduction, and some extremely hot shrimps may take longer, so they can reproduce at most twice a year.

After maturity, the reproduction of extremely hot shrimp will not be limited by seasons, and they can reproduce as long as the water temperature is between 24-26 ℃. When the extremely hot shrimp breeds, the male and female will mate first, and the eggs in the female shrimp will be fertilized at this time. After successful fertilization, the extremely hot shrimp will hold eggs, and it will take 18-25 days for the female shrimp to hatch the shrimp.

2. How to raise shrimps bred by extremely hot shrimps

1. Feeding: Newborn extremely hot shrimps do not need to be fed, and breeders can wait 5-7 days before trying to feed them. Chlorella powder or Spirulina powder can be selected as the food to be fed. When feeding, a small number of times should be followed, and it is best to feed 2-3 times a day.

2. Water temperature: The extremely hot shrimp has poor adaptability to the environment when it is born. Breeders need to control the water temperature between 22-25 ℃ and use heating rods to keep the water temperature constant.

3. Change water: Newborn shrimp needs to change water once every 1-2 days, and half of the water can be changed each time. If the water quality is poor, two thirds of the water can be replaced at a time.
