The golden snail is a relatively easy to raise ornamental snail. It can adapt to a wide range of temperatures, as long as the water temperature is maintained between 5-45 degrees Celsius, it can survive. It does not require high feed, and it can be fed with general snail grain when breeding. If not, you can also feed it with vegetable leaves or red worms. Its requirement for water quality is not particularly high, and it can be raised with tap water after drying.
When raising golden snails, they generally do not need to be given oxygen. Although their growth needs oxygen, the dissolved oxygen in water can meet their needs. However, if the breeding density is particularly high, or the golden snails have exploded, they need to be given oxygen. You can directly use the oxygen pump to pump oxygen into the water. If not, the dissolved oxygen concentration in the water can also be increased by appropriately increasing the frequency of water exchange.
As mentioned above, the golden snail can grow normally in water of 5-45 ℃. In winter, if the temperature is not particularly low, you can not use the heating rod. However, if the air temperature is so low that the water temperature is lower than 5 ℃, a heating rod is required. If the water temperature is very low, their activity will be relatively low. If you want them to grow faster in winter, you can also use heating rods to increase the water temperature.
