Thai betta fish should be warmed in southern winter. Although most areas in southern China are not particularly cold in winter, the temperature difference between morning and evening in winter is still relatively large. If the water temperature in which they are raised fluctuates greatly, they will also be stimulated and prone to more stress reactions.

In addition, they are tropical fish and prefer higher water temperatures. Usually, the living water temperature is above 22 ℃, and the winter temperature in most parts of southern China cannot be kept above 20 ℃ all the time. Therefore, even if they are raised in the south, it is best to heat them properly to avoid discomfort.

The feeding of Thai betta fish in winter should be properly adjusted. Although hot breeders can ensure that the water temperature in which they live is constant, their appetite will naturally decline in winter. It is best for breeders to feed once a day, and the amount of each feed can be eaten within 5 minutes. If they don't eat well, the breeder can feed them once every two days instead. They don't grow fast in winter, so it is best for breeders to feed some digestible and nutritious foods.

If there is food residue in the fish tank, the breeder needs to fish it out immediately to avoid polluting the water quality. And pay attention to reduce it when feeding next time to avoid indigestion.
