Under the condition of artificial culture, Thai Betta can reproduce normally in winter. According to the previous natural environment, they breed from Tomb-Sweeping Day to the winter solstice, and the temperature is too low to breed normally. But captive breeding can keep the temperature constant at a temperature suitable for them to breed, 26-27 degrees Celsius, so they can also breed in winter. Pour about 10cm deep water into the fish tank to keep the water clean and give them good living conditions, and Thai betta fish can breed in winter.
2. How to breed Thai betta fish in winterFirst, prepare a fish tank suitable for their breeding, pour sterilized or naturally dried water, and pay attention to the water temperature to be controlled at about 27 degrees, not too low. Secondly, put the male fish over half a year old into the breeding tank, raise them for 3 days first, and wait for the male fish to adapt to the environment to spit and build nests. Also put a fish tank next to it, and put healthy female fish in it, so that male fish and female fish can be familiar with it first. After 3 days, the female fish can be put into the breeding tank with the male fish, and the male fish ejaculate into the eggs discharged by the female fish and then send them into the bubble nest, and the breeding is successful in about 1-2 hours.
