The first thing to do is to have a container for feeding Sutatari tortoises. Unlike water turtles, the containers used to raise tortoises cannot be paved with sand and water, but with cushions such as coconut soil. The feeding box should have enough space to facilitate its activities, and at the same time keep constant temperature, the temperature should be controlled between 26-32 ℃, and the humidity should be kept at about 75%.
2. Feeding choiceThe food habit of the tortoise in Qatar is vegetarian, and it likes to eat various plants. Lettuce, grass, cabbage, carrot, alfalfa and melon can be used as feed at ordinary times. When feeding, you should eat less and eat more meals, that is, you should feed less at one time, and you can feed more times a day. In addition, it is best to separate the food so that it can still move when eating. If you feed fruit, you must not overdo it.
3. Proper illuminationNo matter what turtle is raised, illumination is essential, and so is the Sutatari tortoise. Usually, take it out to bask in the sun, which is helpful for the growth of turtle shell. If it is inconvenient to bask in the sun, you can also prepare a back lamp, usually using UVB lamps and heating bulbs, which can not only provide light, but also keep warm.
4. Prepare a basinAlthough you don't need to soak in water all the time, you should also provide it with a basin so that it can drink water. Drinking water is helpful for defecation, and it should be cleaned in time after defecation. In addition, in the daily feeding process, it is best to take a bath once a day, each time for about 20-25 minutes. After washing, dry your body as soon as possible to avoid getting sick.
