1. The temperature is suitable: tortoises belong to temperature-changing animals, so they have higher requirements for temperature, especially tortoises. Usually, the feeding temperature should be kept between 26-32 ℃, that is to say, the lowest temperature should not be lower than 26 ℃, otherwise it may be frozen, and the highest temperature should not be higher than 32 ℃, otherwise it will affect its appetite and may lead to its summer sleep.

2. Proper illumination: Tortoises need a certain amount of illumination during their growth, which can not only raise the temperature, help them digest, but also prevent their shells from softening. It should be noted that a little water should be put around when illuminating, so as not to dry it when the illumination is too strong. In addition, you can also use UVB lamp to supplement it. Although it is useless to improve the temperature, it has certain ultraviolet rays.

3. Pay attention to feeding: Generally, plant feed, such as vegetables, pastures, melons and fruits, can also be fed a little animal feed, but don't feed too much, feed it at most twice a week, too much is easy to be over-nourished, which leads to its stunting. Don't use too much water for plant feed, but choose high-fiber plants.
