The tortoise's water depth is related to its size, and it usually does not pass the turtle's back. There are many kinds of turtles. Different turtles have different needs for water depth. Some turtles like deep water environment and can be raised at a higher water level. However, in the young turtle period, even deep water turtles are not suitable for raising in too deep water, because their physical strength is limited, they may easily drown. 1. Razor turtle: Razor turtle is also a typical deep water turtle, which does not need to bask in its back frequently, so the water level can be higher. However, in the period of young turtles, do not use deep water to raise them, and it is best to provide a landing site in the container, so that they can go ashore without wasting their physical strength by swimming all the time.

2. Musk turtle: Musk turtle is a relatively small turtle. It pays attention to inhabit ponds, streams and lakes, usually lives in shallow water, and eats miscellaneous food, but prefers to eat animal bait. This kind of turtle should not be raised in deep water at first, but the water level can be raised slowly, so that it can adapt to deep water.

3. Pig-nosed turtle: Pig-nosed turtle is a highly aquatic turtle, which is very good at swimming and only goes ashore when laying eggs. It prefers warm climate and is afraid of cold. The water temperature for breeding should be kept at about 26-28 ℃. It should be noted that this turtle is naturally fond of fighting, so it must not be mixed.
