There is no need to isolate the female shrimp after spawning. As long as there are enough aquatic plants, it is no problem for the shrimp to find a place to hide. However, it is also necessary to pay attention not to let it be sucked away by the filter. It should be noted that if it is not a simple shrimp tank, but mixed with fish, it still needs to be isolated, otherwise the shrimp eggs will be eaten by the rain.
1. Illumination: Similarly, raising shrimps will provide certain illumination, which can promote the growth of algae in the tank and provide it with certain food. But for female shrimps, they usually lay eggs in dark places after holding eggs, so we must pay attention to shading, and we can also place some scenery in the tank to let it hide inside.
2. Water quality: During the spawning period, the shrimp has more stringent requirements on the environment, so the water quality must be controlled. First of all, we should ensure that the filtration system is good, and then regularly clean up the residual bait, if there are dead shrimps, we should take them out and throw them away at the first time, so as not to deteriorate the water quality and affect its survival.
3. Change the water: The shrimp should not change the water frequently during the spawning period, which will interfere with its spawning. The new water is also easy to stimulate the female shrimp, thus kicking the eggs and seriously affecting the survival rate. In addition, the water level should generally be maintained at 30-50 cm, every two to three days for about one fifth, when changing water, we should also pay attention to the water flow.
4. Feeding: The shrimps during the spawning period also need to eat. Generally, they are fed in the evening every day. The feed grain they are fed is about 1% of their body weight. Feed with snail meat or clam meat, can also feed small miscellaneous fish, but must be chopped before feeding.
