1. The parent fish enters the tank

After entering the breeding period, the Acacia bream can select the parent fish which are paired by themselves for breeding, or can be paired manually. The parent fish is put into a breeding tank according to the ratio of female to male of 2:1 or 3:1, a plurality of urns are placed in the tank to facilitate the spawning of the fish, a plurality of water plants are planted at the same time to provide a place for the fish to avoid, and a filter is prepared.

Acacia bream is a tropical fish. It usually grows in warm waters. The temperature for breeding should be kept at 26-28 ℃ at ordinary times, and it can be 1-2 ℃ higher during the breeding period. It likes acidic water quality, Ph should be controlled between 6-6.5, and the hardness of water should be maintained at about 5-10. Change the water once a week to keep the water clean.

When the Acacia bream enters the estrus stage, the male fish will run to the female fish to show love, and the female fish's body color will be yellow, and the abdomen will become full. When they are finished mating, they will find a safe place to breed, so that the preparation of the urn is useful. The fish will drill into the inside to spawn and discharge sperm, and after completion, the parent fish can be fished out.

4. young fish feeding

Just hatched young fish do not need to eat, they can absorb the yolk sac before. Usually after a day will begin to feed freely, this time to feed some paramecium, rotifers and water fleas and so on. When they grow up, they can be fed with artificial feed.
