The anglerfish appears in the public's field of vision as a "scavenger". They are benthic fish and play the role of a cleaner in the aquarium. Their bodies are very strong and have stronger adaptability and self-healing ability to the water environment. It is perfect to mix this fish with other fish. They can eat the moss on the inner wall of the aquarium and even the feces at the bottom of the aquarium. Strong digestion ability enables them to dispose of the "garbage" inside the aquarium well.

It should be noted that the number of anglerfish kept in the same aquarium should not be too large. Because this kind of fish is very big when it grows up, and some can even grow to about 30 cm. The breeding and reproduction of anglerfish are very simple. They can lay 300-500 eggs at a time, and the success rate of egg hatching is as high as 100%. It is very simple to raise, and novices can try to raise boldly.

1. Water temperature: They don't have too high requirements for water temperature. When raising, the temperature of water in aquarium is controlled between 22-28 ℃, which can keep them in good growth state.

2. Water quality: The water in the aquarium should be weakly alkaline hard water. When raising them, adjust the pH value of water to between 7.0 and 8.5.

3. Feeding: They are omnivorous fish and are not picky about food at all. It is ok to choose artificial feed or live bait when feeding. You can choose fresh live bait such as water earthworms and red worms to feed pipa rats and provide them with more adequate nutrition.
