Map fish lay eggs. They are oviparous fish, all of which are fertilized and developed in vitro. When map fish is produced, male fish and female fish will pair with each other first, and after successful pairing, the female fish will lay eggs. Before laying eggs, the female fish will choose a suitable spawning place and clean up the surrounding moss or impurities. After the female fish lays eggs, the male fish will immediately come forward to inseminate. After successful insemination, fish eggs will become fertilized eggs. After a few days of hatching, fertilized eggs will become small fish. The breeding of map fish is not restricted by seasons. If breeders want them to breed, they only need to raise the water temperature above 26 ℃ and keep the water quality clean and fresh.

Parent fish breeding method: The spirit and physical strength of map fish mother fish will deteriorate after spawning, and they need a lot of food urgently to supplement their physical strength, so they will probably eat their eggs as food. Breeders need to transfer parent fish to separate fish tanks, ensure that they have enough food, and keep the water temperature and water quality stable. 2. Fish egg culture method: If the fish eggs have been fertilized successfully, the breeder needs to keep the water temperature above 26 ℃ and keep the water quality stable, and wait for the fish eggs to hatch. During hatching, breeders should ensure sufficient oxygen in the water, but it is best not to change the water. After the small fish hatch successfully, the breeder does not need to feed them immediately. It is best to wait for 2-3 days before trying to feed some shrimp eggs and cooked egg yolks in good years.
