1. Water temperature: Crystal shrimp is suitable for growing in water of 20-24 ℃. When farming, do not let the water temperature exceed 26 C, nor let the water temperature below 18 C, otherwise it will adversely affect their growth. When breeding, the water temperature can be controlled between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. In addition, we should also pay attention to keeping the water temperature constant, try not to let the water temperature change greatly in a short time, so as not to adapt to them.
2. Water quality: Crystal shrimp has certain requirements on the pH and hardness of water. When culturing, it is better to use water with PH value between 5.5 and 7.0 and GH between 2 and 4. Before farming, you can test the local tap water. If it meets the standard, it can be used after drying for 2-3 days. If it does not meet the standard, it can be made into aquaculture water by adding some Hergen to adjust the hardness of pure water.
3. Aquatic plants: Planting some aquatic plants in the shrimp tank can help provide oxygen, which is very good for the growth of crystal shrimp. Water plants can be chosen from pepper, banyan or pepper grass, or from Moss. However, the number of planting should not be too large, otherwise it will affect the normal growth of shrimp.
4. Filtration: It is recommended to use a filtration system when breeding, which can help purify the water quality and make the shrimp grow better. Specifically, water goblins or other small water tank filters can be used.
Crystal shrimp is recommended oxygen. They have a high oxygen consumption. If there is a lack of oxygen in the water, they will easily grow poorly. If conditions permit, an oxygen pump can be installed directly in the water tank. If it is inconvenient, it can also directly use oxygenated water to breed.
