When the water temperature is lower than 22 ℃, it is easy to affect their appetite and easily cause them to be infected with mildew. When the temperature is higher than 30 degrees Celsius, it will affect the water quality and directly threaten their lives. And it is difficult to change water for them, too much water at one time, sudden changes in water quality, will cause a huge impact on the electric mermaid. Because of the strict management of water quality, they are not suitable for novice breeding.
1, water temperature: The electric mermaid has a higher requirement for temperature, 22-26 ℃ is the most suitable for their growth. Water temperatures below 22 degrees Celsius will affect their feeding and spirit, and above 30 degrees Celsius will make them unable to adapt, or even lead to their death.
2. Water quality: The pH of the water should be kept in the range of 6.5-7.5 for raising the electric mermaid. It should be noted that the subtle change in acidity and alkalinity is a fatal blow to them, if too much water is changed at one time, the water quality changes dramatically, which will affect their growth.
3. Feeding: It can be fed with artificial feed or active bait. Usually you can feed the larvae of brine shrimp, water fleas or silk earthworms and other food. The amount of feeding should not be too much each time, and when the residual bait in the water is too much, the water needs to be changed.
