The fish tank is usually cleaned once a month. If the equipment in the fish tank is relatively perfect, there are filters to maintain water quality, and there is no algae explosion, there is no need to clean it. Although washing tanks can wash out algae, but the original water also needs to be replaced, need to re-raise water, which is not a good thing for fish.
1. Fishing: Before cleaning the fish tank, you must first fish out the fish inside, prepare a clean container, or put the fish in a plastic bag for temporary culture. If it is a big fish, it is better to prepare another fish tank, temporarily raise the fish inside, and then clean the original fish tank.
2. Wipe: After fishing out the fish, empty the water in the fish tank and take out all kinds of equipment. Then find a soft cloth, wipe the inner wall of the fish tank, if it is a large fish tank, you can use double magnet wall wipe, so more convenient operation. The main purpose of wiping the fish tank is to clean up the algae attached to the tank wall, as well as some white scale.
3. Disinfection: After wiping, the next step is to disinfect. Fill the fish tank with water first, and then pour in a proper amount of potassium permanganate, the concentration should not be too high. After soaking for half an hour, the water is drained, and then rinsed several times with clean water to wash away the residual bait.
