The first thing to pay attention to when raising tropical fish is water temperature. Too low temperature is very dangerous for fish, not only will affect its appetite, and may even freeze to death. Some low-temperature-resistant tropical fish can only tolerate the water temperature of 16 C at least, and it is usually appropriate to control the temperature between 20-30 C.
No matter what kind of fish you raise, whether the water quality is good or not will affect its health. If you want to keep the water quality good, you need to change the water besides turning on the filter for a long time. Usually change the water once a week, do not change the water too much each time, so as not to stimulate the fish body with new water, as long as a quarter of the total amount can be changed.
Fish farming must be fed, there are many kinds of tropical fish, feeding habits are also different, some can be fed fish food, some have to feed meat. Feeding must be timed and quantitative, do not feed too much, in order to avoid it suffering from enteritis. It should be noted that although fish have strong hunger tolerance, they can not be fed once a few days, which will make it an old fish.
Every once in a while to clean the fish tank, mainly for the residual bait and fish in the tank, they will pollute the water quality. It is usually cleaned up when the water is changed, and when the old water is pumped out, it can be cleaned up together with the dirt, and then new water is injected into the tank.
