It is easy for fish in cement ponds to die. Generally, it is because the cement ponds are not dealkalized. The cement contains a certain amount of heavy metals, which will cause the fish to lack oxygen, thus causing them to die. Usually, after the cement pool is built, it needs to be washed with glacial acetic acid or potassium permanganate, and then soaked in clean water, usually for 2-5 days, so as to complete the dealkalization. After removing alkali, it should be washed again, and then fish can be put in water.
1. Uncomfortable temperature: When raising fish, especially tropical fish, you must pay attention to the temperature. If the temperature is not comfortable, it will easily lead to the death of the fish. Usually the water temperature should be maintained at about 20 C. Even some eurythermic fish, although they can tolerate low temperatures, tend to be more active when the temperature is higher.
2. Insufficient oxygen: Fish also require dissolved oxygen in the water, because they need to breathe in the water. If the oxygen content in the water is too low, the fish will die. In this case, an oxygen pump can be prepared to give oxygen to the fish tank. It is enough to open it for two hours every day, and if the oxygen consumption is high, it can be opened for two more hours.
3. Poor water quality: Poor water quality is the main cause of fish death. If you do not pay attention to changing water at ordinary times, the water quality will gradually deteriorate, thus affecting the health of fish. Do not change water too often, can also be too lazy, once a week is appropriate, do not change all the water, change too much will also appear some problems.
