1. Water temperature: fairy fish belongs to tropical fish and likes higher water temperature. During artificial breeding, the water temperature can be kept between 24-28 ℃. If conditions permit, it is recommended to install a heating rod to keep the water temperature constant.
2. Water quality: Fairy fish have high requirements on water quality. They like clean and refreshing water quality. Breeders usually need to change water once every 3 days, and it is best to control one third of the total water quantity every time. They like weakly acidic water, and the PH value is best kept between 6.5 and 6.8.
3. Feeding: Fairy fish prefer live bait. When they are cultured artificially, they can be fed more abundant shrimps, water earthworms, water fleas, water lice, etc. At ordinary times, you can also feed some red worms, yellow mealworms, bread worms and other foods. Their appetite is small, so breeders need to follow a small number of feeding methods. It can be fed three times a day, and the amount of each feeding can be finished within 10-15 minutes.
4. Precautions: Although it is not very difficult to raise fairy fish, breeders should also pay attention to environmental stability during breeding. Because fairy fish are sensitive to environmental changes, if the water temperature and water quality fluctuate greatly, they will have more discomfort.
2. Reproduction method of fairy fishfairy fish can mature in about 9-10 months, and adult fairy fish will pair themselves. Breeders only need to put mature male fish and female fish in separate fish tanks. Fairy fish are oviparous fish. They are all female fish that start laying eggs first. After the female fish lays eggs, the male fish inseminate again. After a few days of successful fertilization, small fish can hatch.
