Lean shrimp is better to raise shrimp, farming is less difficult. They do not require high water quality and can grow normally in ordinary fresh water. They can grow to 6-10 cm long, which is a relatively large shrimp, and can eat some small aquatic insects. When breeding, you can use shrimp food to feed, you can also use artificial shrimp food to feed, so it is more convenient to prepare food.
1. Water temperature: Lean shrimps do not have too strict requirements on water temperature, but if they can control the water temperature at about 22 ℃ when they are raised, they can grow better and faster. In winter, it is recommended to use heating rods to keep them warm and not to freeze them.
2. Water quality: They do not have high requirements for water quality, but they cannot be farmed with dirty water. When breeding, we should ensure that the water quality is clean, and if the water becomes turbid, we should change the water in time. If conditions permit, a filtration system can be installed in the water tank to filter impurities and maintain water quality.
3, feed: Their appetite is not large, when breeding can be fed once every 1-2 days of food. When raising young shrimps, they can be fed every day to increase nutrition and help growth. The feed can be artificial shrimp food or small aquatic insects such as red worms and tubificidae. But if you want to feed insects, you should disinfect the food in advance, otherwise the bacteria carried on the food may cause them to get sick.
