Generally, only two adult map fish can be raised in an 80 cm fish tank, because they belong to medium-sized fish, and their body length is about 30 cm after adulthood, and some of them can grow to more than 30 cm. In addition, the adult map fish will become fierce and have a strong sense of territory. If they are raised at too high a density, they may suffer from lack of oxygen or fight. Even if it is to raise underage map fish, the number should not be too much, just raise 3-4. Because they grow faster, there may be insufficient space for activities when they grow up.

1. Water temperature: Map fish is tropical fish and likes higher water temperature. During artificial breeding, it is necessary to use a heating rod to keep the water temperature between 22-26 ℃. Map fish are relatively solid, which can resist both cold and high temperature. As long as the breeder keeps the water temperature constant, they can live normally.

2. Water quality: Map fish do not require high water quality. They can live in weak acid, weak base and neutral water. However, their metabolism speed is relatively high. When they are farmed artificially, they need to change water once every 2-3 days, and the amount of water change each time can be controlled at one quarter of the total water volume.

3. Feeding: Map fish have miscellaneous food habits and can eat a lot of food. Breeders can usually feed them some bumper shrimp, red worms, bread worms, yellow mealworms and so on. You can also feed some lean meat, cow heart and other animal viscera. You can also feed some pellet feed and slice feed.
