The half-moon fighting fish can be regarded as a kind of fish that is easy to raise. In addition to the relatively high requirements for water temperature, the requirements for water quality and feed are not high. It can breathe air directly, so it is not necessary to use oxygen pump when breeding. It is an omnivorous fish, can eat animal feed and plant feed, but also can eat artificial fish food. So it is convenient to prepare fish food.
1. Water temperature: The most important point in raising a half-moon fighting fish is to control the water temperature. It is a tropical fish, very cold, when breeding water temperature should be maintained between 22-26 degrees Celsius. If the water temperature is below 20 C, they are likely to grow poorly.
2. Water quality: It does not have a high requirement for water quality. In actual breeding, tap water that has been dried in the sun for 2-3 days can be used. When breeding, water can be changed every 7 days or so. If there is a filtration system in the fish tank, you can reduce the number of water changes.
3. Illumination: They are not resistant to strong light. When breeding, the fish tank should be placed in a semi-shady place, do not let it be illuminated by strong light, otherwise it will have a negative impact on its growth.
4. Feeding: The frequency of feeding can be controlled at once a day. If you breed small fry, you can feed them twice a day. The feed can be artificial fish food, clean animal or plant feed. Do not feed too much food at a time. Allow the fish to eat all the food within 5-10 minutes.
