1. Water temperature: The water temperature suitable for the growth of flame shrimp is 20-26 ℃. They have a high demand for water temperature, if the water temperature is very low, they are easy to get sick, and the number of breeding will be reduced. Therefore, it is suggested that the water temperature should be controlled between 20-26 C.
2. Acidity and alkalinity: They have strong adaptability and do not require high acidity and alkalinity of water. They can survive normally in water with PH value between 6.0 and 8.2.
3. Dissolved oxygen: They need dissolved oxygen for growth. When breeding, oxygen pump can be used to add oxygen to the water to increase the concentration of dissolved oxygen. You can also plant some centipede grass or other aquatic plants to release oxygen through photosynthesis.
4. Light: They are afraid of strong light. Don't put them in a place with strong light when breeding, otherwise their growth rate may slow down.
5. Water change: The frequency of water change should not be too high. Usually change it every 7-10 days. If they are changed too frequently, they will not grow properly. Do not change too much water each time, so as to avoid large changes in water temperature and quality. About a quarter will do.
The flame shrimp mainly eats plankton and algae in the water. Their anti-hunger ability is very strong, the frequency of feeding does not need to be too high, generally every 2-3 days can be fed. When artificial breeding, you can use ornamental shrimp food to feed. If you want them to develop better color, it is recommended to feed some cooked spinach.
