The zebrafish is a beautiful ornamental fish species. Its greatest feature is the orange stripes that appear from the center of the fish body and extend all the way to the tail. With the stripes of zebrafish itself, the ornamental value is very high. They are not only good-looking, but also have strong adaptability to the environment, with low difficulty in breeding, and belong to the better ornamental fish. Therefore, novice farming is recommended.
1. Water temperature: zebrafish belongs to tropical fish and likes the environment with slightly higher water temperature. When culturing, the water temperature needs to be adjusted to 22-28 deg C. They are afraid of cold water, if the water temperature is very low, they need to use heating rods to increase the water temperature.
2. PH: Zebrafish prefer neutral water. When farming, we need to use water with PH value between 6.5 and 7.5. The water is too acidic or alkaline for them to adapt and survive. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the PH value of the water before putting it in the tank.
3. Feeding: The zebrafish is not picky about food and can eat a variety of foods. When breeding, they can be fed with artificial fish food, red worms, algae, nematodes and other foods. The frequency of feeding should be well controlled, not more than three times a day. The amount of feeding should also be controlled, do not feed too much, let them eat the food in 5-10 minutes. If you feed too much, the extra food will stay in the water and cause pollution.
