Red arowana male and female can be mixed. However, in polyculture, a larger tank is required. Because it is a large tropical fish, if the tank is too small, they may fight for living space. In addition, individuals with similar size should be selected as far as possible, and individuals with large size differences should not be raised together. Smaller individuals may be bullied. In the first few days of mixed breeding, special attention should be paid to the need for immediate separation of tanks if fighting.
