The red arowana likes the water which is weakly acidic, clean, and not very hard. In general, tap water can be used in family farming. However, you can't use the tap water directly. Because there is chlorine in it, it will cause adverse effects on the body of fish. Tap water that has been exposed to the sun for 2-3 days should be used. Because after insolation, the water temperature will rise appropriately, and chlorine will volatilize. So that the water is more suitable for fish farming.
Red arowana likes water of 24-28 ℃, and it is recommended to control the water temperature at about 28 ℃ when breeding. If you want it to develop color faster, you can keep the water temperature at 28-29 degrees Celsius. It is a tropical fish, and the water with a slightly higher temperature is good for its growth. When actually breeding, we should pay attention to keeping warm. The water temperature should not be lower than 24 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, the red arowana may not grow well and may even get sick.
