1. Keep the environment stable: When guppy is produced, the breeder needs to keep the water temperature and water quality in a stable range. A heating rod can be installed first to keep the water temperature between 23-28 ℃. Install another filter to slow down the deterioration of water quality. If conditions permit, it is best to install an oxygen pump to keep sufficient oxygen in the breeding tank. Also keep the surrounding environment quiet, don't make too much noise, and avoid them being frightened and causing dystocia.
2. Install an isolation net: When guppy is produced, the breeder needs to install an isolation net for them, so as to prevent small fish from being eaten by big fish. If there is no isolation net, the breeder can also plant some aquatic plants in the fish tank, so that the small fish have a hiding place.
2. Feeding methods of guppy fish1. Water temperature: guppy fish is just born and has poor adaptability to the environment, so breeders need to keep the water temperature at about 28 ℃. This can speed up their growth and make them adapt to the external environment more quickly.
2. Water quality: Small guppy fish have low requirements for water quality, as long as the water quality is clean and refreshing. If conditions permit, the PH value can be kept between 7.2 and 7.4. They don't pollute the water seriously, so breeders should try not to change the water in the first seven days of their birth.
3. Feeding: Guppies do not need to be fed food when they are born, because they carry enough vitellotin for them to absorb for 2-3 days, so breeders can wait for them to be fed food 3 days after they are born.
