Because guppies are all transparent when they are born, except for a little white head. When they are born about one month ago, they will start to develop color, and the color of their bodies will change from transparent to parent fish. This stage of hair color will last for 20-30 days. When the hair color is completed, their body color is consistent with that of adult peacocks.

Two to three months after they are born, the second phase of coloring begins. However, the hair color this time is not particularly obvious compared with the first time, and the hair color time will not be too long. Only after this hair color, their body color will be more bright.

Small guppies have reached the stage of hair color, and breeders need to provide them with sufficient care if they want to make their colors bright. Only in this way can they synthesize pigments and make their body color more bright. Usually, they can be exposed to the sun for 2-3 hours every day, but avoid the fierce noon.

In addition to keeping enough sunshine, breeders should feed them more foods to promote hair color. Common bumper shrimp, red worms, water fleas, water earthworms, etc. are all ok. If their hair color is not particularly good, you can also try to feed some colorful feed to make their body color more vivid.
