Black and white crystal shrimp has a certain degree of difficulty in breeding. They have certain requirements for water temperature, if the water temperature can not be maintained in a suitable range, they can not grow normally. They also have higher requirements for water quality. Be sure to use fresh water with a certain amount of dissolved oxygen. If the water is too salty or lacks dissolved oxygen, they will not survive. Therefore, it is not recommended for novices to start breeding black and white crystal shrimp.
1. Dissolved oxygen: Because black and white crystal shrimp has certain requirements for dissolved oxygen content in water, it is recommended to plant some aquatic plants in the water tank, or install an oxygen pump. This can help increase the dissolved oxygen concentration of water and make it more suitable for shrimp growth.
2. Water temperature: When breeding, it is recommended to control the water temperature at about 23 ℃, and the lowest temperature should not be lower than 18 ℃. If the water temperature is very low in winter, a heating rod can be installed in the water tank to increase the water temperature.
3. Change the water: Do not change the water frequently when breeding, otherwise the shrimp will not be able to adapt. It is recommended to change the water every 10-15 days. When changing water, don't change too much water at one time, try to change only about one third. This can prevent the sudden change of water quality and temperature from causing damage to shrimp.
