Arowana is a tropical fish, and its origin is the Nile River Basin in Africa and the Amazon River Basin in South America. These rivers are standard tropical areas, so Arowana belongs to tropical fish. Silver Arowana lives in rivers and lakes in tropical areas. They like to live in a slow environment and usually like to swim in water and grass.
2. How much is the water temperature suitable for ArowanaThe water temperature of Arowana can be controlled between 24-32 ℃, and different water temperatures can be adjusted at different growth stages, which can make them live more comfortably. The water temperature of Arowana in infancy can be kept between 28-32 ℃, because their adaptability to the environment is not very strong in infancy, and if the water temperature is low, it will affect their growth and development. When they are adults, the water temperature can be adjusted to between 24 and 28 ℃. Because arowana will become more adaptable in adulthood and don't like to live in high water temperature, breeders need to lower the water temperature.
Silver Arowana has strict requirements on water temperature, and breeders usually need to use heating rods to keep the water temperature constant. Don't let the water temperature be lower than 22 ℃, otherwise their appetite and activity will be affected more, and they may get sick. Although they are tropical fish, the water temperature should not be too high, preferably not exceeding 32 ℃. Because too high water temperature will not only affect their physique, but also endanger their health.
