A month-old guppy mix with a big fish is not recommended. Although the big fish can no longer swallow them in one bite, it is quite different from the big fish in size. Under normal feeding conditions, it is difficult for them to snatch food. Moreover, the food that big fish can eat is relatively large, and small fish may not be able to swallow it in one bite. Moreover, small guppies are sensitive to the change of water quality, and if the water is changed improperly, it may cause the needle tail. Therefore, it is not recommended that breeders put guppy and big fish together for about one month.
If the breeder wants to keep the guppy big fish and small fish together, it needs to be at least about 2 months after the small fish is born.
2. How to raise small guppies1. Water temperature: Small guppies have higher requirements for water temperature, and breeders need to keep the water temperature at about 26 ℃. They are sensitive to the change of water temperature, and breeders need to open the heating rod frequently to keep the water temperature constant.
2. Water quality: The small guppies have no serious pollution to water quality, and are sensitive to the change of water quality. Breeders need to reduce the frequency of water change, preferably once a week, and the amount of water change each time should be controlled at a quarter of the total amount of water.
3. Feeding: There are not many kinds of food that small guppies can eat, and breeders can choose shrimp eggs, cooked egg yolks, backwater, paramecium and other foods in good years. Their appetite is not large, so it is best for breeders to follow a small number of feeding methods, which can not only ensure their adequate nutrition, but also avoid indigestion.
