It is best to control the water temperature between 23-28 ℃ for artificially raising guppy. Because their origin is tropical, the temperature in which they grow is relatively high. If the breeder keeps the temperature within this range, it will be of great help to their growth and development. If the water temperature in which guppies live is lower than 18 ℃, their appetite and activity will be obviously affected, which will slow down their growth. Although they are tropical fish, they can't grow in too high water temperature. When the water temperature is higher than 32 ℃, they will be unbearable, leading to illness.

The appetite of guppies is not large. In infancy, breeders only need to feed them 1-2 times a day. Because they have a high demand for food in their infancy, but their appetite and digestion ability are not large, breeders need to feed them in small quantities and many times, so as to ensure their nutrition and food adequacy.

When they are adults, the breeder can feed them once a day. Because they will need less food as adults, and their ability to eat and digest will increase, they need not be fed too frequently. Especially after entering winter, their appetite will be affected, and breeders need to decide the feeding frequency according to their eating state.
