Even small turtles are relatively large, so if you want to raise them artificially, the first task is to prepare a large enough container for them. At least one water tank over 1 meter should be prepared. Aquariums are not recommended because they are generally not wide enough and expensive.

Because turtles themselves live in seawater, it is impossible to breed with untreated tap water, which will lead to their maladjustment. Artificial breeding needs to simulate a seawater environment, that is, use sea salt to adjust the salinity of water.

In the process of breeding young turtles, water temperature is also a factor that needs special attention. Generally speaking, the most suitable temperature is around 25 ℃, and it is best to keep it at this temperature all the time. Because it is a temperature-changing animal, the temperature should not be too low, otherwise it will affect its vitality.

The food intake of small turtles is relatively large, so it is necessary to pay attention to the feeding problem. Meat, vegetables and fruits need to be matched reasonably. Meat includes small fish, beef, shrimp, loach, etc. Vegetables include cabbage, kohlrabi, etc. Fruits include watermelon, apple, etc. Attention should also be paid to the frequency problem, which can be adjusted according to its growth rate and fed once every 1-2 days.
