1. Water temperature: The water temperature that the Chinese shrimp likes is around 22 ℃. When breeding, the water temperature can be maintained at 22 C with a heating rod. Temperatures above 26 ℃ and below 18 ℃ are not recommended, otherwise their growth rate will be slow. We should also pay attention not to let the water temperature change greatly in a period of time, otherwise they will not be able to adapt.
2. Water quality: They like to grow in a slightly acidic environment, but they can also adapt to a slightly alkaline environment. When breeding, it is recommended to control the PH value of the water between 6.4 and 7.2, so that they can grow better. In order to ensure the quality of water, it can be changed every 10-15 days. The new water should be adjusted to PH and water temperature before changing.
3. Feeding: Their feeding habits are very miscellaneous. When they are raised, they can be directly fed with shrimp food, or they can be fed with live bait such as red worms and tubificidae plus some algae or vegetables.
