But because it is more greedy, and the amount of excretion is also very large, if you do not pay attention to cleaning, it is easy to affect the water quality, leading to fish disease. Therefore, a strong nitrification system must be established, and water should be changed regularly to keep clean and hygienic.
1. White and cloudy eyes: The white and cloudy eyes of map fish are usually caused by the invasion of tubercle Bacillus or Vibrio due to the injury of the eye membrane, or may be caused by improper medication or poor water quality, as well as nitrogen entering the fish. In the early stage of illness, water and salt need to be changed, and the temperature rises to 30-32 C. If the illness is serious, it needs to be treated with chlortetracycline or penicillin.
2. White spot disease: White spot disease is caused by the white spot worm, which breeds deep into the skin and forms white punctate cysts. Later, the cysts will spread all over the body, and the white spot worms inside will suck the nutrition of the fish, resulting in poor growth. When the disease is found, it is necessary to raise the water temperature immediately and control it at about 30 degrees Celsius, so that it can be cured.
3. Fin rot disease: Fin rot disease is usually caused by poor water quality or excessive stimulation of fish by new water. After the disease, the fins will be slightly rotten, the edges are milky white, and in severe cases, they will be incomplete or even completely rotten. It is necessary to add furacilin or furazolidone to water and soak it for 10-20 minutes to alleviate the disease.
