There are two species of betta, one is Chinese betta and the other is Thai betta. Compared with guppy, these two kinds of fish are better raised in China. Because Chinese betta fish are not tropical fish, their requirements for water temperature are not high, so long as they are placed indoors in a warm room, they can not be heated in winter. In addition, betta fish has an auxiliary respiratory system and can live in water with low dissolved oxygen, so the difficulty of feeding is relatively low. In addition to choosing from the difficulty of feeding, breeders can also choose the fish to be raised from the size of containers. If the container prepared by the breeder is larger, the guppy can be raised in groups, because the guppy will be more ornamental only when raised in groups. If fewer containers are prepared, you can choose to raise betta fish. Because betta fish need to be raised alone to grow better.
2. Can betta and guppy be mixed?Betta and guppy are not recommended to be mixed together for the following reasons:
1. Personality incompatibility: Betta is born to love fighting, and its aggressiveness and attack power are relatively strong. However, guppies are gentle in character. If they are mixed together, guppies may be bullied.
2. Different habits: Betta likes quiet water environment, but guppy likes to swim around and be lively. If they are mixed together, it may affect the normal development of betta fish.
