It is not difficult to raise traffic light fish. They belong to small tropical fish and have high requirements on water temperature and water quality. If the environment changes, they will have more discomfort. And the courage is relatively small, very easy to be frightened. In addition, they are also afraid of strong light, so they need to prepare a dim environment when raising them.
Many breeders die because they don't know their habits, so if you want to raise traffic light fish, you'd better know their habits and environmental requirements first.
2. How to raise traffic light fish1. Water temperature: As mentioned above, traffic light fish are tropical fish, so they like higher water temperature. In artificial rearing, the water temperature can be kept between 22-26 ℃. If conditions permit, you can use a heating rod to keep the water temperature in a stable state.
2. Water quality: Traffic light fish also have strict requirements on water quality. They like weak acidic soft water, and need to keep the PH value between 5.8 and 6.8 when raising. If the water in which they are raised is too hard, it can be changed by boiling. They like old water, and it is best to change it once every 1-2 weeks when raising it. The amount of water changed each time should not be too large, and it can be controlled at one third of the total water volume.
3. Feeding: Traffic light fish are not very picky about food. Breeders can feed them some bumper shrimp, red worms, earthworms, water fleas, silk earthworms, etc. You can also choose some synthetic feed, but synthetic feed is not easy to digest, so breeders need to pay attention to the amount of feeding.
