The star spot pearl shrimp is relatively rare, and there is also a certain degree of difficulty in raising. They like clean water, and if there are too many impurities in the water, they may not grow properly. Although they have certain requirements for water quality, they do not have high requirements for food. Because they are omnivorous shrimps, they can eat algae, red worms, plankton in water, shrimp food, green vegetable leaves and other foods, so it is easier to prepare feed when breeding.
1. Water temperature: Star point pearl shrimp prefers to grow in water with a temperature of about 23 ℃. The water temperature is favorable for their growth. During the breeding period, the water temperature can be slightly adjusted to 25 or 26 degrees Celsius. It's better for them to reproduce.
2. Feeding: Pearl shrimps are not picky eaters. They can be fed with dried red worms or artificial shrimp food when they are raised. But if you want to feed red worms, you need to disinfect them in advance, so as not to infect shrimps with bacteria that may be carried by red worms. The frequency of feeding does not need to be too high, it is recommended to keep feeding every 2-3 days.
3. Water quality: Pearl shrimp can be raised by airing tap water. When farming, it is suggested to plant some aquatic plants in the water tank to increase the dissolved oxygen concentration, and install a filtration system to maintain the water quality. It makes them grow better.
