Although they are half-water turtles, they like to live in deep water, and most half-water turtles generally live in shallow water or on land. Crocodile turtles are large in size, but it is difficult to raise them. Now they are bred as ornamental turtles by many people.

Crocodile turtle is a semi-water turtle. When they are in their place of origin, they all live in water. 2. How to raise crocodile turtles

1. Environment: Crocodile turtles do not have high requirements on the environment. As long as the water temperature is between 20-33 ℃ and the water quality is kept clean and fresh, they can grow and develop normally.

2. Container: The crocodile turtle is large in size, especially the adult crocodile turtle, whose body length will be about 60-70 cm. Breeders need to prepare a larger container for them to meet their space requirements.

3. Feeding: Although crocodile turtles are omnivorous turtles, their favorite animal feed is animal feed. Breeders usually feed them some small fish, shrimps, red worms, lean meat, animal viscera, etc. to ensure their adequate nutrition. In addition, breeders should regularly feed them with some plant-based feed to ensure their balanced nutrition.

4. Daily protection: Crocodile turtles have poor disease resistance in their infancy, so breeders need to disinfect them regularly and treat them in time after they get sick, so as to ensure that they can grow up healthily.
